In November of 2017, Instagram released the top most instagrammed restaurants in the U.S. As seen in this Architectural Digest article, 230 Fifth Street in New York City tops the list! I luckily got to visit this beautiful roofdeck during my last trip to NYC in December 2017. Yes, you read that right. It is open all year long!
Located on the 21st floor, the views from the open air roofdeck are stunning. You have a direct, unobscured view of the Empire State Building.
If the cold is too much for you in winter, the 20th floor is completely enclosed. But I recommend not letting the cold bother you. In fact, the winter experience is really cool – the restaurant provides robes to wear, have patio heaters, and igloos you can rent. The bars also serve hot chocolate, tea, coffee (along with the typical beer, wine, and cocktails).
